Welcome to Borderline, a company with an international reputation for creating and distributing inspired textile collections mainly produced from archive sources.

 

The company founded in 1995 by Sally Baring and her husband John, started with printed fabric collections based around 19th century documents and textile samples from their own archives, in line with their philosophy of creating traditional designs with a  slight twist.

 

Since then Borderline has successfully added the retro designs of Enid Marx, Florence Broadhurst, E.Q. Nicholson, Nancy Nicholson, Calkin James and recently Cressida Bell on fabrics as well as wallpapers.  All the fabrics are screen printed on a variety of natural base cloths in the U.K. with the exception of Florence Broadhurst which is screen  printed in Sydney – Australia.
